A story with deep roots

Our family business began generations ago in Kaliroi, a small village in the mountainous Peloponnese region of Greece. Our historic orchards, rich with olive trees and oregano, still thrive there today. In 1914, our grandfather Nick Gotsis immigrated to the United States, arriving at Ellis Island and began working across the country. He settled in Los Angeles in 1920 and eventually ventured to Sinaloa, Mexico, where he worked for an American company before establishing his own farm in 1921.

For over a century, our family has been dedicated to growing and exporting vegetables to the US. Inspired by our frequent visits to Kaliroi, where we brought back Greek olive oil and produce that was always a hit with family and friends, we decided to launch Mánamu in 2019. Specializing in the distribution of Greek olive oil, olives, oregano, and sea salt, we highlight the freshness and unique flavors of our products and share our family’s passion for promoting premium Greek products. Today Manamu has built a loyal customer base that values ​​the traditions and distinctive tastes of our beloved Greece.
